Pyramiden
THIS IS A RUSSIAN MINING TOWN ABANDONED IN 1998.
THE TOWN WAS CALLED DUE TO THE PYRAMID-SHAPED MOUNTAIN, AT THE BOTTOM OF WHICH THE TOWN WAS ESTABLISHED.
TOWN LANDSCAPES ARE ENDLESS MOUNTAINS, VALLEYS AND GLACIERS.OPPOSITE THE TOWN, THERE IS THE FAMOUS NORDENSKJOLD GLACIER, HUGE ICE BLOCKS OF WHICH HANG OVER THE WATER AND HAVING ACCUMULATED ENORMOUS GLACIAL MASSES CRASH INTO THE WATER SETTING FORTH ON THEIR JOURNEY IN THE SHAPES OF ICEBERGS.
DUE TO THE CLIMATE FEATURES AND LOW OF DUST AND MICROORGANISMS IN THE AIR, STRUCTURES LEFT BY PEOPLE DECADES AGO STILL LOOK LIKE THEY WERE LEFT ONLY YESTERDAY.
